Les Miserables - Do Not Forget Me

Phew. Another Les Mis fanart.
Please, do not ask I don't even know why I did this. I think I just wanted to draw Valjean and Javert as children duh.
Actually, this one has been sitting on my desk for MONTHS until today, due to my need to hand my portfolio over at academy this week, I sit down, took my acrylics and freakin' finished it.
It wasn't really necessary and it's nothing special at all, I mean, it won't surely change anything about the way they're going to judge my damn portfolio, but you know, it's strange, but somehow I felt like I needed these two guys with me at my final exam next week haha :')

Anyway! Back to the characters, they're absolutely my favorite ones in Les Mis, and even though it's the stupidest thing ever, I just LOVE the fact that Valjean is much older than Javy.
I kind of have this thing of preferring older characters I think it's because I was born at the beginning of February, and somehow, basically, all the kids born my year I met at school were always younger than me, ya know :V (yeah, you would say, how the hell you haven't got to meet almost any kids born that year before you, but I tell you, it just happened, probably only one or two people I met were born before me that year ugh) Moreover I have a little sister who's nine years younger than me, and while growing up I remember nothing but seeing media with main characters being always younger brothers or being generally younger than the rest of the characters and stuff like that, so I think I did grow up with an issue!! Even worse considering that I always tended to identify in characters I liked, so, ya know...
In the last year though, I got to see stuff that had older siblings as main characters, or characters who are kind of old compared to the bunch, so at least I was a little happier. xP Haha I know it's freakin' weird and stupid, but whatever, also I know you don't have a reason to care about this but I felt like sharing anyway after all, I guess the main reason why I did this drawing was to actually represent the age difference between Jean and Javy and get this off my stomach, haha!! No really, sorry if I bothered you with this stupid story duh.

Okay, what I was saying... oh, that I like the fact that Valjean is older than Javert, and so I had my fun drawing them as children. They are around 14-15 and 3-4, given the age difference of 11 years, with Valjean being born in 1769 and Javert being born in 1780 Tried to get the features right and stuff (based on the 2012 movie version), and of course put them in the clothes they wear as adults so they are huge just for the sake of it haha really I'm sorry. Javert's one would be even bigger actually, haha. As for the rest, I think the way they act and the comic should speak for themselves

Sorry for all the nonsense, I hope you enjoy it just a bit. I can't wait until this year at academy is over. I'm freaking tired and overall not being really well lately. Hope it's just the stress and stuff, you know :/
