My comic cover...

Uh, the cover for the comic I've been talking about all this time! [link]

Hope it looks okay after the upload ;A; you know my monitor hates me and pretty much does what it wants >_>

ANYWAY!! For those who are curios, here's a bit of explanation

Of course, the title is Italian...it literally translates as "From Savona to Volturno". Savona is my hometown, it's in the north of Italy and it's the place where the main character comes from, while Volturno is in the south of Italy and it was the place where the last battle of the soldiers guided by general Giuseppe Garibaldi to unify Italy took place.

Okay so, the story is set in the period of the Risorgimento...it's the historical period in which all the little regions in which Italy was divided were unified to become one nation. Specifically, it's about this young guy named Nicolò, who is basically tired of being a fisherman and in 1860 he decides to join the volunteer army guided by Giuseppe Garibaldi. These brave people departed from Genova (which is a city near Savona), reached the south of Italy and started fighting all their way through to defeat the foreign house of Bourbons which was settled, in facts, in the Southern Italy.

I put it very simple, but that's it, basically xP

The little tower on the background is one of the symbols of Savona and I love it yeeaahh!

And I still have to decide if I like this cover or not...but lately I'm so uninspired that I'm just glad I could draw it ._. the sketch was so much better though. Don't know why it lost so much while inking :I

I might as well scrap it soon! XD
