Snow White and The Huntsman - Wounded

Yay, let's have another useless drawing from me xD

Eric, from Snow White and The Huntsman... yep, that's his name (beautiful name if you ask me cough!!)

Mh, let's see... oh yes, the background sucks. I mean, what. The. Hell.
Generic bg of the Dark Forest ftw. No seriously, I hate it and it doesn't have anything to do with the character, but I really didn't have any damn idea of what I could put behind him. And I didn't want to leave it blank, even though maybe it would be better...

To tell the truth, I wanted to draw something meaningful as bg... in facts he looks quite lost in his thoughts while looking at the wound he got when he rescued Snow, but no matter how hard I thought about it, nothing would come. So yeah...

About the character, I don't know! I've been practicing quite a lot on drawing him, and I did use a reference, but you tell me! Does he look like Chris Hemsworth at all? : |

ANYWAY!! It is still better than the first time I drew him [link] at least, haha!!

Okay, now that I finished with this rant, ABOUT THE MOVIE!!
Maybe some of you will remember my excitement and the long waiting I had to bear before being able to watch it, on July 11th!! Haha!
I swear, I was SO TENSE when I got to the cinema with my friends!!
Eventually, I kinda liked the movie and I really loved this character. There was just.... so much about him, and I'm a bit frustrated that not everything was told.
The structure of the movie though was really, really solid (hero's journey all the way and I liked that!) and that was a huge plus.
But since the structure was so solid, I'm surprised they let all these little plot holes get away so easily, especially with Eric's character. It all could be corrected very easily, and it's important stuff, because he's the one who shares the title of the movie with the protagonist...

Me and my friend are going to write something about all this thing though, and we're absolutely going to share it as soon as possible so you can get my point : D
I think you can just feel the struggle they gave to give him more depth though XD I can say I appreciate that!

In general, the main problem was that, despite being slow on some parts, the movie proceeded too fast with some things that should have been better explored... but again, I'm going to put this in better words asap

All in all, despite the flaws, I enjoyed watching this thing, really! And again...there's so much to be told about this character. They opened so many doors... and I hope they're going to explain more in the sequel... and that it's not going to turn out into ANOTHER freaking triangle love saga... agh, let's cross fingers!

Meanwhile, I already can't wait to get my hands on some DVD or something!! :'D
