Lately I haven't been as active as I would like to here; I'm very slow in replying comments and notes and I hate that (I wouldn't want you to think I don't care about you guys!! D: ) so I thought I'd write this journal to give you a little update about what I'm doing at the moment.
As I told some of you while replying your comments, I'm working -again- on a giant comic project that absolutely has to be finished before the end of April. I'm working a lot on that one, I'm at the coloring stage now
Still, it takes a lot of time...I work on that for the major part of the day, and it still needs a lot of corrections D: so I really hope I can finish it at least one or two weeks before April ends, so that I can have some extra time to correct what doesn't work... anyway when it'll be finished, maybe I'll be allowed to post something about it so you can have a look, if you're interested!
Aside from that, I have assignments to do (and they're getting tougher...or maybe it's just me putting more effort into them haha!) which take away a lot of my time... >_> tomorrow I shall do them or I will be in trouble lol.
And more, I'm also working on another little comic project...I'm only the artist, and the author wants it to be ready to be proposed to an editor by Easter...I don't think we'll be able to do it by that time, and I don't even know if it's going to be published or not, but that's another thing to add to the to do list, and with all the other stuff going on it's not going to be easy, duh. Still it's another thing that needs to be done and it's work experience! :>
About commissions: you guys are really AWESOME because I'm making you wait so much and still you have patience! I'm going to work more on your commissions this weekend, and in the weekends in general. During the week I'm not really able to fully focus on doing other work! Dx So thanks for bearing with me. I hope the outcome will be worth the waiting. Really, thank you :')
When I'm finished with everyone I'll make a big collage of the drawings and I will upload it here!
Meanwhile, I hope you all enjoy the little personal drawings that I upload here, most of the times they really are just very quick sketches I draw and quickly color in the evening to relax a bit after work and to keep practicing drawing things that come out of my mind, out of inspiration. I've been stuck with no ideas for several days, always working, and it was killing me D: now I think I have some more inspiration so I may upload more things between commissions and work.
Anyway I just wanted to thank you all once again for supporting me for your comments and faves!! I really love you for doing that! :'D
Now that you know the situation at least you know why I may be slow in replying comments and such, but I do read them all and will try my best to answer as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for reading!!
PS: thank you for all the songs suggestions I got in the last journal!

(sorry did not see the point in asking the same question two times :3)
Until 1861, Italy was divided in a bunch of small independent regions. To become a nation it needed to be unified; a very meaningful event for this matter happened in 1860, when general Giuseppe Garibaldi guided a group of approximately 1000 volunteers from the north of Italy to the regions of the south, which were dominated by a foreign dynasty. Starting from there, those brave guys managed to win a lot of battles against the enemy's soldiers and eventually reached the center of Italy, where Garibaldi met Emanuele II, the king of the northern Italy. It was March 17th, 1861, and that is the symbolical date of the unification of Italy. This period in which all those things happened is called Risorgimento
So my story is about a boy who joins those 1000 volunteers in 1860, in their expedition to go and free southern Italy.
but that sounds like an amazing story to right
Comunque buona fortuna con i tuoi progetti!
Ahah!! Ma fai bene a prendertela comoda, in fondo più concentrazione ci metti e meglio è!
Comunque grazie mille, e ricambio!!
