Avengers - About Tony Stark

It's the first one I color with my monitor's new settings, so I hope it looks okay T__T

Well, you know what I like the most about Tony Stark in the first Iron Man movie? ....actually, what makes me like him so much as a character? His isolation!
Yep. Tony appears as such a "perfect" character: he's a genius, he's rich, he gets the girls (lol XD), he has a positive attitude and a witty sarcasm that always help him making the best out of any though situations, leading him to succeed.
While all these positive traits are part of his character, in the first Iron Man movie we only get to "fully" see them at the very beginning, and then we get to see his real self...he's actually quite lonely (as he says, he only has Pepper), as soon as he starts facing hardships he gets abandoned by most people (including Rhodey at first) and at the very end he discovers that the man whom he considered as a father tried to kill him!
And before all that, his whole perception of himself and of the world is completely turned around when he's taken hostage and he has to show his true guts in a very though situation.
And most of the time, he makes most of the job alone, and I always get the impression that his most superficial attitude is there to "compensate" the fact that with being so smart and everything he is pretty much isolated from the rest of the world. And what's good is that he can deal with that :> somehow he manages to make the good out of when he's part of the world (showing his superficial attitude) and even when he's on his own. You can absolutely feel his satisfaction when he's working on the armor...haha!!

Ehm, okay, that's how I see him in the first Iron Man movie I like it so much because Tony's development is so well done. I feel that somehow, after he comes back from Afghanistan, the film actually starts to show Tony's inner self and concentrates on that. We don't need to have more of his arrogant self, we already saw that...what's needed is to focus a bit on his "weaknesses" and gosh, in the movie they do it so well. It actually makes a rich genius relatable to the audience!

I hope you see the point of what I said x) anyway it's just my personal view on things, my perception of his character through the movie! :>

About the drawing itself, I tell you, the armor was a pain, but I was SO HAPPY that I finally drew it. It's part of that difficult stuff that I usually avoid to draw, but this time I did it! 8'D It was fun to do. I'm not sure the anatomy is fully correct though...not only I drew the armor, but I had to draw it in a pose that I never was able to draw before and that would have put me in trouble even with normal clothes haha!!
So bear with me!!
And the background looked way cooler in my mind, but...oh well..whenever I plan something it ends up different from my thoughts, so I should learn to always go by instinct...

About Tony, I wanted to show him a bit...tired lol! XD Like he's just back from a mission or something and yeah, he somehow feels a bit the loneliness I talked about before. And he wears the Mark IV, yeah

The holographic screens are EPIC FAIL. but I didn't want to work on this thing anymore.
It took me several days to complete between work...something like 10-20 minutes per day working on this XD gee, frustrating!
